The Abe M.I.A. Embossment (Black, Loose) is a limited edition of 25 prints of manipulated US pennies featuring Abe Lincoln. The handmade penny plate is made using hand sawn and soldered solid copper pennies composed in an 11” x 15” penny sheet. The series uses the fabricated plate to run an edition of bleed-off embossments on Arches 88 paper. The edition was printed in Syracuse University by Dusty Herbig and Lake Effect Editions. You are buying a loose embossment measuring 11" x 15". Each print is signed, titled and numbered on the back.
