This is a one of a kind 2×2 cube of enameled pennies—this piece features the heads and tails of a US penny on the outside of the cube. Each side has a different color of transparent glass - green, lavender, brown, rose, powder blue, and yellow.
Part of the Enameled Penny Rubik’s Cubes series, each cube is handcrafted from circulated, pre-1982 U.S. pennies—solid copper coins that are often overlooked or discarded. The surfaces are kiln-fired with vibrant vitreous powdered glass enamel, transforming these humble coins into bold, colorful sculptures.
