The Liberty Conjoined Drops are precisely hand sawn silver coins on oxidized solid sterling silver French wire hoops. Two coins are cut and soldered together to create a sphere. Liberty dimes or Mercury dimes were minted in the US from 1916-1945. The coin designer, Adolph Weinman, wrote that he considered the winged cap on the lady liberty a symbolize of freedom of thought.
