The Morgan Dollar Locket is a handmade hinged container entirely made out of vintage silver US Morgan silver dollars. The United States Mint first produced the coins from 1878 to 1904, and again in 1921, designed by Mint Chief Engraver George T. Morgan (1845-1925). The coin features a beautiful curly haired lady liberty portrait with an American eagle on back . The lid of the locket is a 1889 Morgan Dollar and the back of the locket is a 1890 Morgan Dollar. The chain is solid oxidized sterling silver and measures 36 inches in length.
