The Vermeil Liberty M.I.A. Drops are made using hand sawn vintage silver liberty dimes or mercury dimes which feature the lady liberty with wings representing freedom of thought! Her coin portrait is sawn out and then attached above and dipped in gold. The vermeil is 14k yellow gold measured at 2.5 microns thick over the silver material - much thicker than traditional plating therefore lasting longer than traditional plating. The French wires are solid sterling silver with 14ky gold vermeil.
