These earrings are made with vintage Buffalo/Indian head nickels that are hand sawn out with a traditional jewelers saw and hang from oxidized sterling silver French wires.

Buffalo Nickels were minted by the United States Mint from 1913 to 1938. Designed by James Earle Fraser, these 5-cent pieces feature a Native American profile on the obverse and an American bison on the reverse.
